THE PROCESS

Responsibly sourced indigo dye

This case partly used organic hemp with natural indigo dye. Today, nearly all indigo dye is produced synthetically on a mass scale. However, the Hmong people of Northern Vietnam still produce the pigment organically from locally grown indigo plants, so, not only does this mean every piece is unique, your purchase is supporting the practice of responsible sourcing.

Please Note: Every item is one of a kind and no two are alike. The dyed palette comes from all-natural botanical pigments, and each pillowcase gets its unique character from washing and drying under the Vietnamese sun. Handmade items are not factory made; therefore these pillows may have minor imperfections that add to their vintage charm.
